  3. FUNCTION: Installs an electronic RAM disk.

  5. FORMAT:   DEVICE=VDISK.COM  in the configuration file CONFIG.SYS
  6.  
  7. TYPE:     Public domain DOS 2.0 installable device driver
  8.  
  9. REMARKS:  VDISK is the virtual disk device driver described in the IBM DOS
  10.           2.0 Manual. By default, it is set to create an electronic RAM disk
  11.           of 180K bytes with the next available drive designation. The public
  12.           domain utility RSVD can be used to change the size of the RAM disk
  13.           from 6K to 255K bytes. See RSVD.
